Aesthetic merits are obvious. However, it seems to me this particular design could be "dual-purpose". Yes, there are more detailed illustrations available for instructional purposes out there; BUT - if you are just wanting to familiarize yourself - or your client - with issues pertaining especially to the spine; or emanating from the spine; could this not be a useful tool, too? Form AND function = true "art".
